History
Through the Generations
In the 17th century, Frédérick Mack, a cooper by trade, laid the first stones of this viticultural adventure. Its modern identity was forged in 1959. Two winemaking families, through Francois Sipp and Marie Louise Mack, united their strengths and passions to create the estate’s identity as we know it today. Ten generations later, the family spirit continues to guide and inspire Domaine Sipp Mack.
Development
An Estate with Multicultural Inspirations
In 1985, Jacques, the eldest son, met and married Laura, originally from the United States. Together, they took over the mantle from Marie-Louise and François, opening Domaine Sipp Mack to the international market. English became the language of communication, and a multicultural vision gave the estate a new dimension. Today, this openness is reflected as much in the diversity of its visitors as in the recognition of its wines beyond borders.

Tradition and Innovation
Currently, Carolyn, the younger daughter of Jacques and Laura, and Grégory are giving new momentum to Domaine Sipp Mack. They strive to innovate while preserving family authenticity and respect for the environment. Certified in organic farming in 2010, the vines are managed with rigor and humility, allowing the terroir to express itself fully. Domaine Sipp Mack embodies a subtle balance between history, expertise, and modernity.

The Expression of Our Terroir
The estate’s wines are distinguished by their elegance and a constant search for balance. The work begins in the vineyard, with carefully sorted grapes from vines that draw necessary nutrients from clay-limestone soils. In the cellar, intervention remains measured, with minimal inputs, to allow each grape variety to fully express the character of its terroir.
