Terroir
Clay-limestone soil, 300m altitude. Selected plots of old vines, over 40 years old, from the Grunspiel and Haguenau terroirs, between Ribeauvillé and Bergheim. Organic farming.
Winemaking
Harvested by hand, pressed for 5 hours in a pneumatic press with whole bunches. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing on fine lees. Vinification in compliance with organic specifications.
Opinions
94/100 - Notes of candied grapes on the nose. The palate is exotic and floral with rose. The mineral finish is rich and long. - James Suckling
